Creative Sensibility
The ten years that followed the 1990 collapse of Japan's bubble economy have been called the "lost decade". But looking at everyday lives, we find this phrase problematic. What, in fact, was lost during the "lost decade?" To find out, we constructed a wave-shaped time-series graph showing changes between 1990 and 2004. Based on what this graph tells us about the reality of the "lost decade" as experienced by ordinary people, we try to forecast what the future holds for the people of Japan.
Results of this Analysis
